The Cayuga room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and Melissa was an attentive host. My one disappointment was that the website referred to the "private" hot tub experience for an extra $25. It was private in that we were the only ones in it. It is not located in a way that provides any privacy. It... More

Every time I get reviewed, I always pause before I respond. Trip Advisor says to respond immediately but time seems to put things in perspective for me. They also suggest a few ways to respond best but against their advice, I would like to freely respond to this review from my heart. I want to thank my guest for taking... More

This was our first trip to the finger lakes. We were seeking an inn that would be a quiet hideaway after a busy day sightseeing and the inn at gothic eves was perfect. Our room was clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed the large windows and the beautiful fire place. The decor was modern and the bathroom luxurious. The inn... More

I spent a terrific weekend here. The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms were immaculate and roomy and the whole place is beautifuly decorated with wood floors, walls and eaves. Best place I have ever stayed.

We first stayed at the Inn at Gothic Eves during our honeymoon back in October of 2012, when we traveled around four of the Finger Lakes, in hopes of finding delicious wine, a cat, and b&b's we could return to during our marriage. Last weekend was both our three-month anniversary, and my husband's birthday. Our plans fell apart last minute,... More

6 of us went to the finger lakes for a weekend wine tour event. we had looked at several places to stay, and we have had good luck in the past with a bed and breakfast, we tried another one. This one turned out to be a good pick! It was close to Ithaca where we got the trolley, and... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your experience. I know how many choices guests have when choosing a place to stay. My staff and I spend a lot of time keeping the house clean and finding better ways to serve our guests. Your group seemed to enjoy each other at the breakfast table and also... More

We planned our 1st wedding anniversary trip to the Finger Lakes area. We had booked to stay at the The Inn at Gothic Eves. Unfortunately my husband became ill and we had to head home early. We were aware of cancellation policy when we booked. The cancellation policy was very fair - if you had to cancel, you were responsible... More

My partner and I were looking for a bed and breakfast at which to have a small wedding ceremony, with guests staying on location and activities both on- and offsite. When we visited Gothic Eves and met the owner, Rose, we knew we had the perfect location. The Inn is elegant and perfectly appointed, and Rose is friendly, attentive, and... More

I almost did not go. Daughter and son-in-law urged me on with my stomach ache - said to wait a few hours and even till the next day to decide. Alas! I felt better. They helped us pack, and away we went for a lovely weekend. My husband really enjoyed the sitting room along with our bedroom. The breakfasts were... More

This particular guest was staying in the Cayuga Suite. The Cayuga Suite has a bedroom, sitting and bathroom in the Potter house located next door to the main Inn. The daughter and son-in-law stayed in the suite next to the Cayuga Suite, The Seneca Suite, which is a large room with a sitting area within it. Guests choosing both of... More

When we booked this B&B for an anniversary trip, we were hoping for a quiet country retreat. Unfortunately we got almost no sleep due to the traffic going by all night and the fact that the walls are so thin that we could hear the person below us snoring. You should also be aware upon booking that there are NO... More

I am sorry that these guests did not enjoy their stay with us. I believe this couple was having a very hard time and felt that I was inflexible. I also believe that they do not think that they are responsible for their reservation. I would like to share with you the rest of the story. The Inn at Gothic... More

Lovely, comfortable and delicious place! We stayed for 3 nights with my parents. They have mobility and dietary issues, and Rose was very attentive to their needs. We stayed in the Cayuga and Seneca suites, and they are immaculate and very homey. Rose also helped with activities and restaurants, making our stay even more wonderful. One of the loveliest places... More
