Great location. Coffee shop on the ground floor. Our room was spacious and beautiful. Air conditioned. Great roof terrace for breakfast. Lots of character. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.

You enter a cool doorway escaping the heat of the day and are immediately enveloped in the warmth of the staff.Rooms are simple yet beautiful.The rooftop terrace breezy and breakfasts are delicious as are the snacks in the cafe.The hotel is spotless and staff are wonderful.

Zanzibar Coffee House is a beautifully renovated, former sultan palace. It offers a café with probably the best coffee I have ever had. Additionally, there are some 8 rooms for rent. Every one of them is kindly decorated. Beautiful! Such a calm oasis in the pulsing city of Stone Town. Go there!
