Some reviewers have criticized the breakfast but our feeling was that it was especially good, with bread and pastry, yoghurt and boiled eggs, homemade preserves and plent of fresh fruit. Madame Clemot's presence near the breakfast table added warmth and charm, as well as an abundance of information. This is an especially romantic place to stay, I was quite overwhelmed... More

Great views. However, the breakfast was incredibly stingy for 150.00 euro per night. We did niot like the way the owner would sit to the side of the breakfast table-as if to hurry us along. We would not stay here again.

Madame Clemot and her daughter greeted us with great enthusiasm, kindness and local macaroons. They were most helpful and treated us quite like family (they both speak English). La Maison d'Aline is right in the village of Saint Emilion yet once inside it is quiet and peaceful. Our room was a ground floor queen with a large bath and we... More

Our room was very large with a view over the old town but i felt it was very overpriced for what you got at 150 euros per night. The room had nick knacks and furniture everywhere. It was all dated and needed a good cleaning. For example we could not use the tea kettle as it was too dirty inside.... More

Mme. Clemont, the owner/hostess of Maison d'Aline, made us feel as though we were old friends returning after a long absence. She welcomed us into her home and provided everything we needed to make our 3-night stay a success. Our attic room was delightful, although we had to be careful of the very low doorways; we had lots of room... More

La Maison d'Aline is a B&B with 3 bedrooms beautifully decorated, very clean and with amazing views in the city. The owner is a pleasant lady, who speaks very good English. The only thing which was not perfect was the breakfast, which should have been more rich, in order to feel there was a good value for money: cheese and... More

This is not a typical B&B. The view out the 12th century windows, plaster, stonework and big wooden beams transport you back to a medieval St. Emilion. But the warm smile of the owner, fresh bowl of cherries in the room, full bathroom with a washer/dryer make it feel like you could just stay forever. The town is right outside... More

Wonderful B&B tucked away in the heart of St. Emelion. Our room was spacious and clean. Super restaurants within a few hundred meters. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! And, our host even got us reservations at a great restaurant that was very busy, not to mention the assistance she provided in getting us into a Figeac wine tour. Recommend to anyone... More

We stayed one night here on a quick visit to St Emilion. The house is located in the centre of the historical part of town and the view out over the village as the sun was setting was picture perfect. The landlady is a character who speaks perfect English. She dropped us at the train station for no extra charge.... More

This B&B has only 3 rooms, all of which are beautifully furnished with lots of thoughtful and romantic details. When we arrived having booked the cheapest Green room, the landlady offered us the more expensive Blue Room for the same price; obviously we accepted and were delighted. The four poster and the views over the town were exquisite, the en-suite... More
