The campground is awesome BUT we were traveling by motorcycle and needed linens for the cabins. I asked when I reserved the cabins and was told they would be provided. This campground is the best in the Boone area. We arrived August 2011 to move our daughter into college. The staff were so very helpfull. This was our first time here, but not our last. We tent camped...great tent sites, great showers and bathrooms very clean. water and electric hookup no extra charge ...One other really good thing was that there was no extra charge for fire pit - the KOA charge $10 for fire pits

Since our last visit for the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, not much has changed. The bathrooms and the cabin could have been cleaner this time.
