it is a older motel,but the owner was very nice and rooms was very clean,and the price was good too.i will be staying there again when i go to cherokee,and i suggest you stay there too.

My wife and I went to Cherokee, NC and we stayed at the Pocahontas Motel. It gave me the same feeling back when I was a child and my grandfather took my brother and I to Cherokee. First impression is that of an older, out-dated motel from the 60's. Yes, it IS an older motel, but the owner goes out of his way to ensure the rooms are extremely clean, and up-to-date. We completely enjoyed our stay, and are planning to return for a second visit soon.
