A LONG way south of Stockbridge, MA, but this was vintage Norman Rockwell.... maybe he visited!! If he did, its one of the few things that the wonderfully hospitable hostess Betsy didn't tell us in early-December. Quiet, but just off Main Street, the wrap-around porch house had an absolutely fabulous feel. Genuine warmth. Felt like a step back in time....

We stayed for a one night getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. One excellent ammenity is the "guest kitchen" with snacks; drinks, and a fridge. We would recommend the owner's restaurant as well (Clayton Steak House).
What a wonderful experience we had at this lovely B&B. The hosts were accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding. The guest kitchen was such a nice convenience. It was an easy commute to the convention center in Raleigh and so nice to escape the city at the end of the day.
