Our room was the standard two room suite (bedroom & sitting/desk area with wet bar, min-fridge and microwave) with updated furnishings, and 2 flat screen televisions. At first glance, the bathroom appeared clean but had a strange smell. When showering, the smell was really pronounced then I realized the culprit…mold around the grab bar mounting and mold around the soap... more

No hot water. Front desk did not apologize and asked if we would like maintenance to come up and check out. (Ghee whiz) what do you think we would say, NO? Maintenance checked and said the whole floor was out. Asked for an upgrade but was denied. We moved up to a different floor. Shower was warmer but never hot.... more

When checking in the hotel, everything seemed fine. The frontdesk staff was excellent and courteous. The room was clean, spacious, and exactly what we were looking for. We stayed here while visiting friends in Charlotte. We chose this hotel because it offered us enough room(2 adults and 3 kids) to be comfortable, but we got much more than just that. Very nice, very new Embassy Suites hotel. As previous people have stated, the evening managers reception and cooked to order breakfast are very good. Hotel is located just off I-85 at exit 49. If you are into NASCAR, or events at Lowes Motor Speedway, this hotel is located less than one mile from the track, so it is very convenient.... more

I have no idea how a previous reviewer can say this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It is a short distance from Concord Mills and Bass Pro Shops.
