The campground is clean, shaded and offers a beautiful natural setting with many shaded sites. The closest town is Franklin, NC, about 25 minutes away. There are many hiking trails in the standing Indian Basin, including several in the campground itself. This is a great place for camping. We have staid here a couple of times. The first time was in Oct 2008. I would recommend staying here in the fall for all the leaf colors.
