Hot Springs is a wonderful little mountain town, but choose where you stay carefully. I recently stayed at the Iron Horse Station for a friend's wedding. I was delighted when I first saw the inn, but was quickly disappointed. I was told by the groom that our rooms were booked in advance because he wanted to make sure we were... More

Iron Horse is a unique place as is Hot Springs. A good place to go to get away from the hustle bustle. The staff was friendly. We stayed in room 201. It was a nice size room and clean. It was also very cold. If you like a cold room choose 201, 202 or 203. Other rooms on the other... More

If you want to stay in the Iron Horse Station Hotel, choose your room with care. Room 201 was too loud to bear. It is next to the hotel laundry, which the staff used after 10 PM; it is next door to the town public works buildings where the workers get started with heavy equiptment at 7 AM, and there... More

Wow, what a nice place to stay when you want to hike around beautiful Hot Springs. The receptionist did an outstanding job, super friendly and charming, was a pleasure meeting her. I had a Pullman sleeper room, which was cozy with the window above the bed. Maybe a bit noisy at night since the run a pub/restaurant with live music... More

We spent Friday and Saturday night at The Iron Horse and really enjoyed it. Have you ever walked by an old building in an old town and seen wide stairs leading up and wondered what it used to be like? The Iron Horse is wonderfully restored and really gives the feeling of the 1929 inn it was. The main hall... More

We made an unexpected trip to Hot Springs at the last minute. It had been a busy week so figured we would check it out. We knew there wasnt many places to choose from in Hot Springs but didnt expect this hotel. The lady at the front-the manager-was outstanding! She was generous with her time and about the friendliest manager... More

My wife and I decided to visit Hot Springs for our 6 year anniversary this weekend. I looked around at all the different inns, hotels, cabins etc. in town and something caught my eye about The Iron Horse Station. We checked in Sunday afternoon and Beverly was welcoming and warm. Our room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The big windows... More

We stayed In a Pullman sleeper room, going for economical at this hotel. Queen size bed but a still bigger than we expected! Hard wood floors everywhere, skylight in our room. Was nice and cozy! Hotel is connected to the restaurant but guests can enjoy the mezzanine level overlooking the restaurant and entertainment below. Mezzanine is also equipped with big... More

The Iron Horse Station has a first-rate restaurant and an interesting gift shop downstairs, and quaint and comfortable accommodations upstairs. What more could we want for an ideal vacation? We walked a span of the Appalachian Trail from the front of the station, and just across the street, we bathed in a private hot tub at the Hot Springs Resort... More
