My friend and I booked a room for 3 nights and had to check out after the first night due to moldy, chemical smell that kept us awake and effect our breathing. This was on a Monday and the lobby was locked as no one was working then. We spent a couple of hours trying to find someone to talk... More

Stayed there with a group of friends, we had 5 rooms, in July, and it was a horrible hotel. The rooms were ok, but the outside looked like it hasn't been kept up with since it was built. The main office is NOT open on Mondays. We watched a couple try to check in, and the door was not open,... More

I really enjoy staying there. The staff has always been very friendly and they care about people. On site restaurant - good food! The lodge has a homey feel. Can't wait to go back. No swimming pool - but a creek behind lodge.

Rode down on the motorcycles to visit the area. Have been to Maggie Valley several times but have never stayed at the Smoky Falls Lodge. Will will stay there again. Front desk was very courteous, even called to make sure we were still on our way as we were running late due to weather issues. Rooms were very clean. Fireplace... More

25 of us rode Motorcycles up to Maggie Valley for a weekend of cruising the Mountains. The Hotel was very clean and rooms were nice and cozy. Some rooms even have fire places, ask for them, On site is a nice grill with very good food, I think some of the prices were a little high, but its right there... More

We arrived on 8/7/12 and looked around and decided to stay. Very nice girl met us and checked us in. They were cleaning the rooms so we only waited 30 minutes for it to be ready. Meanwhile, I sat in a swing out front. Very relaxing! The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner talked to... More

Stayed in the lower level part of hotel that is separate from the other buildings, it has three different type sections, very clean, rocking chairs outside the room. Small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Employees very friendly and helpful. The very best part is the onsite restaurant Moonshine grill, food was excellent, actually outstanding for a small mountain town.

My husband and I stayed at Smoky Falls Lodge during our wedding back in December, 2012. My daughter also arranged our reception to be held at this site. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay here. "We feel in Love with Ms. Littia!". She was so helpful to our needs - especially working with my daughter. Long story short... More

Stayed at Smoky Falls this weekend and absolutely loved it. The staff was nice and very helpful. We had one of the large rooms with a corner gas fire place which was perfect since it was a pretty cold weekend. The room was very clean and decorated really cute. My children used the Wi-Fi all weekend for some college schoolwork... More

This was my mama's first trip to Maggie Valley and she absolutely loved Smoky Falls Lodge and was very satisfied with everything it provided us with. She awed at how the river ran directly behind the lodge. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the room was clean and fresh smelling! Also to add, the beds were some comfortable and soft!
