We had a reservation for two nights and we left even before moving in. The website is charming and gives the illusion of a romantic luxury retreat. When we arrived everything was totally different.,This B&B is close to the local airport and the train line, vineyards are quite off the retreat. the reception and the breakfast area are more hostel... We arrived to discover that dinner was not available at this lodge, only breakfast, so a drive back to Tanunda with one of us not drinking, not really a great start. The large Jacuzzi type bath didn’t work, nor did the coffee maker in the cupboard. The room was very cramped and the bed uncomfortable. The swimming pool needed some... More

We booked this accommodation for our honeymoon and at $370 per night we were expecting something special. While the grounds are certainly beautiful the attention to detail was missing and the rooms were very small. In addition it was very unusual to find the bar fridge and the coffee machine in the bathroom! The rooms were very dark and this... More

Great place , beautiful scenery and great wine , although I tend to prefer the less renound places as they are generally more user friendly , prices a bit steeper too but if you want to tell all your friends when you get back home about your visit then this is one to go to

A bit off the beaten path, with separate lodges / rooms for the guests. very friendly service. Very quiet! But you'll have to deal with nature waking you up early in the morning. Great place to stay. Limited to breakfast. No lunch and zero service after 5 pm.

We visited the Barossa Valley in January 2013 and it was very hot, over 40! Unfortunately this held us back from walking around the beautiful grounds and having the icy cold champagne, we had bought at a local winery, in the gardens. Our cottage was a welcome relief and the air con. worked a treat. The interior decor was faultless... More

This beautiful estate provides the perfect place for a weekend away. Wine, gardens, original rooms with the feel of luxury, to make anyone who stays here feel special. I stayed here with my girlfriend for two nights in January this year. We were greeted on arrival with a tour of the estate. We stayed in the Loft suite which was... More

I'd recommend this place with word of caution about cleanliness, which is an issue easily resolved by the owners if they lift their attention to detail. Without bogging you down in where the cleanliness issues occur, I'd recommend you have a good look around the room before accepting it and raise any concerns you have immediately. We could put up... We visited Barossa Valley in September and what a vacation to remember. We were greeted by the manager and his lovely wife upon check in. We are big red fans and were not familiar with their wines. The complimentary wine tasting introduced us to what turned out to be our favorite wine of the entire week. Our Aussi friends ordered... More

This is a small group of cottages just out of Tanunda, when you arrive, you are greeted with a complimentary wine tasting. We booked the orlando suite at a significantly higher price because we thought it was more private, however it was attached to 2 smaller suites. The interior was faultless, the bed comfortable, the gardens beautiful. Breakfast was nice,... More
