Fabulous location on the beach, Staff was friendly and attentive, rooms were clean and quiet even during the tropical storm. Beautiful ocean views from the upper deck. Restaurant breakfast buffet and seafood dinners also quite good. I will be back. Thanks to all the staff.

Unfortunately, the bar isn't very high for hotels on the NC beach. Registration is awkward, as you need to carry your bags up a flight of stairs to register, and there was no valet service. We planned our scuba diving trip months ago and the dive shop recommended Holiday Inn on their web site. On arrival we knew the choice was excellent.
