Check in was smooth and quick. Staff appear friendly and helpful. Room is clean and the AC works perfectly. Only thing that would be better is if the pool, fitness room, and hot tub were open. According to the manager the pool and fitness room will be open soon.

Room 132, do not stay in!! The window faces a non existent pool, there is no natural light. The fridge freezes your food, the thermostat doesn't work - the heat won't come on and the a/c unit won't shut off. The shower has too much water pressure and actually hurts showering in. The staff do try, but those staff that do not communicate requests from clients should be fired. I asked for a new room today, the staff had one room with a broken TV another room where it's a/c doesn't work. So if the money isn't going to fixing up the hotel then where is it going? I tried speaking to the manager on site, but doing a bottle run was far more important than doing her job. Such a disappointing hotel this spin around

Came for a student placement at the hospital. It’s overall fine, and it was the best rate I could find. Just a bunch of annoyances - pool & fitness center still closed even though restrictions have been lifted. Free breakfast included in my rate started at 7am - too late for the early shifts. Wi-Fi was constantly laggy & difficult to connect to. Restaurant closed at 2pm. Room key kept failing. Room itself fine.

I booked this hotel for a 1 night stop while exploring the area. The hotel was easy to find. When I checked in, the front desk agent was helpful. He advised that my room was on the 2nd floor and there is NO elevator. So I went up the stairs and walked an extremely long way to find my room. Not sure why I was put so far away, as the hotel seemed nearly empty (based on the few cars in the parking lot). Unfortunately my room looked nothing like the photos on the hotels website. This room was clearly not renovated, and was very dated. The couch in the room looked quite old. The TV was dangling from the wall. The bathroom was clean but the sink and tub looked to be from the 80s. The bed, however, was clean and comfortable. The hallways were very dark and dusty. There were a few places where it seemed like they had been doing some work, but just left it unfinished. I saw one place outside my room where there was exposed wiring right in the hallway. I would like to mention that I arrived right before their kitchen closed, but the waitress was very helpful in getting me dinner and packing it up to bring to my room. That effort was much appreciated, as I was tired and didn't feel like going out to get something. Overall, this hotel needs some major work, and I don't think I'd return.

We stayed in an executive suite and it might have been better to stay in a regular room. The room was very dark and had no windows to the outside. The one "window" was a door out to the pool which was closed. They were no windows in that area either except for very small ones up very high, so we didn't get any natural light during our 2-day stay. The bedroom itself had no windows at all and felt very cave like. We got this suite because it had a Jacuzzi tub. The jacuzzi tub was all right, but the hot water worked intermittently and so it was more of a warm tub than a hot tub. The light in the bathroom worked intermittently as well, and was much like being in a nightclub the majority of the time as it flickered on and off. This hotel does not come with a hair dryer or hair conditioner. We managed to snag the last bottle of hair conditioner from the vending machine. I should have checked before coming but generally that is standard nowadays. We did receive a free breakfast in the morning at the restaurant on site which was nice. Overall, I think next time we're in the area we will likely stay somewhere else.

On a recent trip through Alberta, we stayed one night at the Heritage Inn and unfortunately, we were disappointed. Our newly renovated king room was well-appointed and spacious; however, the portable air-conditioner was as loud as a Boeing 747 and needless to say, we did not sleep a wink. We will not return.

Very nice place. Definitely recommend. Bathroom fan screeched and it took forever to figure out which tv channels were available - seemed like nothing worked but we were tired and the beds were so comfortable we simply fell asleep. Would stay there again.

I stayed here one night and would return. The room was large and recently renovated, although the heating system is old and very noisy. The bed was extremely comfortable. My booking included breakfast, which was great - it wasn’t a typical hotel breakfast buffet, but rather a limited menu with omelettes and other breakfast dishes. The portion sizes were great, and the server was friendly. I didn’t have a chance to visit the fitness centre, but it looked like there were a few pieces of cardio equipment, some dumbbells, and a bench - enough to get a bit of a workout in, but I noticed a gym just down the street, so that’s likely a better option for a good workout. Definitely a good option if you’re in High River.

Good value. We were on a road trip and this was a good facility. Staff were pleasant and helpful. There is an attached pub, which we were looking for, with good pub food. Would recommend this place if your passing thru town.

I ended up here by accident. I was booked in Taber and my car had a mechanical problem. They took me in, treated like a VIP and helped in so many ways including the GM telling me not to rush leaving till my replacement rental came because he wanted me to be safe. But I also want to recognize the Taber location that reimbursed my night’s stay with no notice. Every employee showed me kindness that was exemplary and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again or recommend the chain to my friends.
