We passed thru Port Renfrew from Victoria to Port Alberni. We stopped for lunch at the hotel We sat on the deck and watched fishermen. We both had the large salads, my husband had chicken and I had Halibut with the salads. Everything was fresh and good. We enjoyed the respite with a beer each.

Stayed here for one night in July, 2006. Wonderful location on the dock at Port Renfrew - overlooks a tidal beach with otters, and lots of other wildlife. Nice restaurant and bar close by, with very good food. Cabins have very comfortable beds, huge bathtubs, and are self-contained, so you can cook. BBQ available for the deck. Very friendly staff.... We stayed here for one night prior to hiking the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island in Canada from Port Renfrew to Bamfield.
