Jean and Dick were waiting for us with a warm smile and greeting upon our arrival. Our room was beautiful and the view of the inlet from the deck was spectacular. The room had everything we could possibly need, like a home away from home. Jean and Dick were lovely hosts and so hospitable and engaging, they felt like family. The breakfasts were delicious each morning and plenty to eat. My particular favourite were the homemade lemon and blueberry scones with homemade jam. Everything was homemade and scrumptious. Thank you for making our 10th anniversary stay so memorable!

We were fortunate to get a last minute booking at sechelt inlet B n B. I booked based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Jean and Dick are warm and hospitable without being intrusive and their pride of ownership shows. Our group booked all three suites and they were immaculate and included lots of thoughtful touches. When Jean learned we were cycling in to her on a Friday evening, she offered to pick up some dinner supplies which enabled us to enjoy both the sunset and the hockey game in the comfort of our suites. The hot tub was welcome after our days of cycling and Jean catered beautifully to those in our group who had gluten allergies. The view from the suites was absolutely spectacular and well worth the hill climb to reach them. I would book again in a heartbeat!

We celebrated our honeymoon and ended our trip to the Sunshine Coast at Dick and Jean’s and were blown away by their hospitality which is second to none! They graciously welcomed us and surprised us with a lovely card, a bottle of chilled sparkling wine and Lindt chocolates in our room. Jean has scrumptious fresh baked cookies in the common area which my husband loved! The first morning we needed to head out early for a boat tour and sweet Jean packed us the most lovely picnic breakfast. Croissants, ham, cheese, fresh baked muffins, yogurt and fresh berries complete with a thoughtful note on the bag!🥰 Breakfasts here are outstanding. Jean makes a beautiful 3 course breakfast and Dick makes the best coffee on the Sunshine Coast!! All with gorgeous views of the inlet!! Jean makes her own jams and condiments...we LOVE her homemade hot sauce! The rooms are clean and cozy with stunning views and decks overlooking the inlet. We even had a chance to enjoy the hot tub with a view too! Overall outstanding hospitality and a perfect home base for adventures on the Sunshine Coast. We can’t wait to come back and we will return soon!!💕

This was our third stay at this B&B - what an absolutely charming place this is: quiet, clean, cosy...everything we could possibly need! The rooms are warm and spacious with individual ocean-facing patios perfect for reading and wine-sipping. The hot tub overlooks the inlet and although we didn’t see whales THIS time, we did see a pod last visit! Breakfast is completely outstanding: Dick and Jean cater to any and every need. Feels like fine dining first thing in the morning! Jean makes most everything herself: jams, jellies, citrus butters, breads, muffins, pastries....a seasonally rotating feast! Hospitable, inviting and taking a genuine interest in their guests, Dick and Jean will not disappoint! I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a getaway: friends, couples & families too. Thanks Dick and Jean! - Melissa

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and stayed for 3 nights. Our hosts, Dick and Jean, immediately made us feel right at home. From the sumptuous breakfasts, to the sweeping scenery, to the absolute silence of a Sechelt night - everything was perfect. We highly recommend this B&B and will definitely be coming back!

After a week of traveling and great wildlife viewing at Vancouver Island we found our slice of paradise in Sechelt Inlet B&B. Dick and Jean gave us a very warm welcome. The location and view from the balconi is beautiful and got us back in lower gear to relax and enjoy the Sunshine Coast. Dick helped us with a list of walks we could do and Jean is the queen of dilicious breakfasts (local produce and homemade deliciousness!!). So what ever you do... sit back, relax and enjoy this pearl at the Sunshine Coast. Elly en Eelco

Dick and Jane are the most amazing host. My husband, I and my in-laws enjoyed it thoroughly and could not stop talking about it during the ride home. The breakfasts are certainly competition worth, almost everything is from farm to table .. The hot sauce , the jam are all home made with local produce. Not to mention the beautiful garden, the inlet view from the balcony and the outdoor hot tub.. This is definitely the best B&B i have ever stayed!

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for 2 nights at the end of August. We were greeted by Jean and Dick who were instantly welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the Arbutus room which was very well equipped. En suite bathroom, king bed and a beautiful balcony affording us great views of the inlet. There is a small communal fridge with tea and coffee making facilities as well as home made cookies. We also used the hot tub. Breakfast was carefully prepared to a very high standard and the food was local , fresh and delicious. Such courteous hosts, didn’t want to leave. Location is good, just over 5 mins to Porpoise Bay provincial park which was great as we wanted to kayak. About 10 mins to shops and restaurants. Great stay. If we ever go back to sechelt I’d definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this location is, and how amazing the hosts are. The homeowners treated us like family and then some. The breakfasts that they provided were far better than anything you could get in a local restaurant. My boyfriend and I traveled here for his birthday and it was beyond our expectations. The hot tub was amazing, great at the end of the night. The view is better than any picture could portray. The peace and quiet was something out of a story book, such a nice escape from the city. We have stayed at quite a few vacation rentals and this is the top of the heap. We will absolutely stay here again, no question.

My husband & I had a wonderful few days staying with Jean & Dick at their lovely B & B. They were extremely accommodating hosts and made us feel welcome and at home in their B & B with gorgeous views of the inlet. Everything was sparkling clean and the breakfasts were AMAZING! Team Jean & Dick produced a different breakfast menu every morning and always delivered with smiles and chit chat. Food was elegantly served and delicious (you need to plan activities that work off all those tasty morsels!) We loved staying in the Porpoise Bay area of Sechelt and were kept busy biking and hiking and visiting with friends. One morning we had to be up extra early for a day trip to the Princess Louisa Inlet and we were still welcomed with a 3 course breakfast in spite of this. Well done, you definitely deserve the gold star award in our books! Hopefully we will visit again one day!
