We stayed in May 2013 for a weekend getaway for our 5th Anniversary. We were in the Sunrise cabin as it is pet friendly (1 of 2 cabins that are) and we had our golden retriever with us. It was our first time here and must say the location is stunning! Right on the lake, cabins are set apart and... More

We stayed there for two nights but only stayed one. We booked the Merlin. First off the chair was so dirty, I'm sure a homeless person wouldn't sit in it. Half the blinds were missing or broken. The dock was practically falling into the lake it was so wobbly. Honestly for what you pay, stay at Pinewood or Brereton Lake... More

We just spent the weekend in the Tamarak cottage. The views are outstanding. The cottage has a wood stove that was already set up to light a match to when we arrived. The have extra wood in the cottage and a woodpile within 30 ft or so of the cottage. The outdoor hottub was fantastic. Gorgeous views of the lake... More

We booked a 2 night stay at the Mahigan cabin at High Lake to celebrate our 24th anniversary and let me tell you that it was everything one could want and more. From the initial contact on the phone with Linda to our arrival and processing, everything was perfect. We knew in advance that we would have to walk into... More

I almost hate to review Falcon Trails since the quiet is part of the reason we liked it, but the owners deserve increased business for creating this retreat. Each cabin has an outdoor hot tub on its deck, but cabins are far enough apart they are still private. Many have private beaches and while it does get hot in Manitoba,... More

My family of 5 loves going to our annual spring break resort. My 3 boys love being ourside and seeing nature up close and that's what we get at Falson Trails resort. The cabins are perfect for us, we love the hot tub and you can't beat the scenery. We've seen Eagles, Deer, and even a Wolf on our last... More

We have stayed for a week in summer a few years in a row, and have never been dissapointed! Great cabins, great scenary, freindly staff. We are going now in winter, and cant wait to try the tubes and go skating! I highly recommend this place summer or winter! PS We always go as a family, but this would be... More

We enjoyed the hot tub in screened patio, wood stove, comfy beds, ice skating on the lake, and attracting a variety of birds to our feeder just outside the window. Would like to see a bigger TV for movie watching next time we go. Service was good. Would definitely recommend this resort to others.
