The couple who run this B&B make it what it is. In typical Newfoundland fashion, they are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but they do the trick. Breakfast was first rate and even had some of the local foods. Harry even went so far as to start a fire up in the evening.

We enjoyed our visit. The room was small but adequate, and our private bathroom was across the hall. It was less expensive because of this. It was quite a hot day and night but we managed with the fan. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you, Mary!

Auntie M's Lucas House B&B is very easy to find and oh so welcoming. We stayed 1 night after flying into Deer Lake. We stayed at the B & B while travelling through Deer Lake. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hosts were excellent and the breakfast was delightful. Highly recommend Lucas House to anyone staying in the Deer Lake area.
