My husband and I and another couple actually stayed at the Claddagh Inn back in June and even though I am only getting around to writing this review now I have meant to for months! In short this B&B was amazing, the best that we stayed at while we were tourning Newfoundland! The Inn was extremely comfortable and the bar... More

we were running all over the rock and stopped in here for an evening. very friendly proprietors made us feel welcome and served a delicious multi course dinner. we mostly kept to our room after supper as we were quite tired but with how quiet it was we wouldn't have been able to tell there was more than just us... We very much enjoyed Patrick and Carol's hospitality during our one night stay. Patrick is my favourite inn owner in recent memory. We were treated to a few stories of the area by Patrick after dinner - he's a great story teller. Patrick offered to make suggestions for things to see in the area the next day. If we had... More

This place is what you expect of a good hotel, but from a guest house. No complaints whatsoever. The hosts Carol and Patrick were really friendly and talked to you as if they had known you for years. The rooms were very comfortable and immaculate. The food prepared by Patrick at night and Carol for breakfast was very good and... More

The Claddagh Inn on Main Hgy in St. Mary's has been owned and operated by Carol and Pat for the past year. They are a young retired military couple. We stayed there for only one night but as others have said, had we known how nice they are, how beautiful the rooms were (we were in the Limerick), and most... More

The best food I have ever eaten in any B&B. The location is breath taking, romantic and business like at the same time. Pat and Carol make you feel you are right at home and getting spoiled at the same time. Can't wait to visit again and tip a few in this quant well run B&B!

When we arrived at The Claddagh Inn, we were warmly greeted by Carol, who along with her husband, Patrick, own the inn. Later we had a chance to meet Patrick and enjoy his tasty snow crab dinner. Room's are clean and adequately furnished. Some of her nice water views. The bathroom has a shower stall and is amply sized. There's... More

We recently had the opportunity for two stays at the Claddagh Inn in Aug 2012. One for our two teenage daughter's for four nights, and the other for our 24th wedding anniversary. Pat and Carol went out of their way to make our girls feel comfortable and encouraged them to feel at home. They really enjoyed the stay and even... More

My husband and I recently spent a night at The Claddagh Inn for our first anniversary. We stayed in the Limmerick room and I must say, it's even more beautiful than the pictures. The Inn has a small pub that is just full of character and a wonderful spot to grab a drink and have a chat. The hosts, Patrick... More

Completely refreshed by its new owners in 2011 and 2012, it boasts 6 private en-suite rooms. There's a spacious honeymoon suite with majestic king-size canopy bed and spa bath and also a double room available for family travellers. "Padraig's Folly" is a cozy guest pub or "snug" featuring a fine selection of whiskeys, a local craft beer on tap, and other refreshments for guests to enjoy during dinner, in the pub, or while enjoying the view of peaceful St. Mary's Bay from the deck. This eclectic pub is furnished with re-claimed furniture from the nun's chapel. St. Mary's Bay Snow Crab is our signature dish in the dinning room where four-course fine dining is offered by reservation. The room features incredible wood work in rich warm textures and is decorated with traditional and international art. The view is remarkable and is a great place to start your traveling day while enjoying a hot three course breakfast in the morning featuring local berries and home made jams. New for 2013: starting in June lunch will be available daily! Bi-lingual service bien sur :) Join us in St. Mary's and enjoy access to the amenities offered by the Irish Loop.
