“Location, Location, Location in southern Gros Morne”

How can you not appreciate an affordable, charming, idiosyncratic B&B two minutes from Woody Point's iconic lighthouse, four minutes from the Gros Morne National Park Discovery Center, and six minutes from the Tablelands trail? “Very good B & B for the price point”

We spent one night at the Blanchard House and thought that it met expectations for the price. It was a nice, simple quiet b & b with a good lounge space. We stayed in the double room with separate bath in the hallway. This bath had a lock (so no issues with privacy) and had a bathtub only. Our friends... More

“Needs some TLC”

This B&B is rated 3 stars by Newfoundland Tourism, but that rating is extremely generous. The house has clearly seen better days and is in serious need of some repair and updating. The owner does not live on site (no-one does) and in fact we never met the owner, and that may be why the house is more rundown than... More

“Excellent value, peaceful location”

We spent two nights at Blanchard House on our trip to Newfoundland. at $85/night incl tax it was an excellent value for the money. Woody Point is quieter than Rocky Harbour and Norris Point, where we spent some additional days, and it was a nice change of pace and allowed us to see a different side of the Gros Morne... More
