We enjoyed our overnight visit with the owners making us feel like welcomed guests in their home. Wonderful breakfast, very tasty and well presented. Wayne and Frances were helpful with information about the area, what to do, how to get there, etc. The household is very well organized. The slipper request was not a big deal, however, if a guest... The Luckenbooth B & B was a perfect place to recharge before touring the Cabot Trail. Our bedroom was very large and comfortable. Moreover, we could use the upper living room to sit and relax. Wayne and Frances are entertaining hosts and provide much information. The house is spectacular! Breakfast was delicious! My husband and I much preferred this B... More

Run by the lovely Wayne and Frances, this B&B is situated on the water less than a half hour away from Baddeck and provided a great position to start our counter-clockwise tour of the Cabot Trail. As a seasoned B&B visitor, I understand the other reviews which have alluded to a certain rigidity (shoes must be removed at the door... More

Stayed 3 nights at Luckenbooth and was thoroughly impressed. Beautiful B&B with lovely hosts and great food! What more could you want? 3 rooms all with ensuite baths. Very nice common areas and a great patio looking to the water. This has become the standard place to stay in the area for our company. If rooms aren't available at Luckenbooth... More

This was the first time my husband and I have ever stayed at a B&B and we quickly learned it isn't for us. It just feels too much like staying in someone's home, which you are. BUT- for our first and probably only visit to a B&B- I'm so glad it was the Luckenbooth. What a stunning property, and such... More

We stayed here for three nights - definitely get room 3. Much larger and not in a basement. Very modern Inn, built 7 years ago. Hosts very knowlegeable and helpful. Did not like having to put on bedroom slippers once entering the house. The basement had two bedrooms and a guest area with TV. Could have used an refrigerator with... More

The Luckenbooth is a roomy and clean B&B with a partial view of St. Anne's Bay through a thick surrounding of trees. Included in your room rate is a full and delicious breakfast prepared by the owners. While this B&B is priced appropriately, a few things could be improved upon. The bedrooms are spacious but the furniture needs updating. The... More
