My husband and I stayed here for two nights (Monday to Wednesday) in early October so we had a full day to do the Cabot Trail. We stayed in the Lighthouse Room - this is the only room overlooking the water. It's very roomy, decorated in white with splashes of reds and blues, and very cozy. Bed was very comfortable,... More

We stayed 4 nights ( we had planned 2) because we liked the house and the location very much. the living rooms and the terrace are beautiful and we enjoyed our evenings after dinner ther. I agree that the breakfast is a liitle poor for the price you pay, but after almost 3 weeks of travels in canada we were... More

Thank you for your comments. We strive to make our guest stay enjoyable. We have an historic home on the water that has been updated and adapted to serve our guests. Some rooms are smaller than others but all have the same attention to detail. In lieu of a hot breakfast, our staff ensure their is plenty of juice, milk endless... More

We stayed here for three nights and were happy with our decision. The inn is located at the end of the main street which is a useful location. The rooms are nice, if a little small for what you pay. Breakfast is available but there should be a wider variety - it is rather limited. The living room and decking... More

Dunlop Inn owners would benefit from a little less hyperbole. This is a cute serviceable little Inn across from a gas station in Baddeck Nova Scotia. The rooms are small and cute, but not elegant as advertised. A small deck on the back overlooks the harbor. It is close to the entrance to the National Park which is spectacular (where... More

we stayed at the Dunlop Inn July 2012. It is in a WONDERFUL location right in the middle of everything!! the deck looks right out onto the beautiful bay and the lighthouse is just across the water. We stayed in the smallest room with the private bath but it was across the hall. I have to say this is the... More

We were unable to stay here because all the rooms were booked. We had a quick peek at the Inn and enjoyed sitting in the the chairs down by the water. Beautiful view and great location!! I would definitely stay here if I came back to Baddeck!!

A beautiful period house, beautifully furnished. Fabulous views, deck and beach on Bra D'Or. Lovely ladies to look after us. Even the weather was great! Although we have travelled widely in Europe and Canada this really was for us a holiday of a lifetime. We will never forget it.

Christine, the housekeeper, is always cheerful and friendly, keeps the Inn spotless, and makes sure everything is ready for the continental breakfast. We like the tastefully decorated " Mabel Bell " room, with ensuite bath, downstairs, with nice views over the lovely arranged garden. The location of this Inn has to be superb, with lovely views over the Brad"or Lake,... More

Very nice Inn, old but well well maintained. We stayed in room 5 and the lighthouse room, the lighthouse room has a wonderful view and you can hear the surf all night. Room 5 was fine, elegantly decorated but without a view. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms are very small. There are small shower stalls in the bathrooms... More

We loved sitting on the deck or in the sunroom looking out over the water. The rooms were so nice and the inn was located within walking distance of the Alexander Graham Bell museum. We had a really nice time at this B & B and would love to come again.
