The location is great and I found the staff to be very friendly. Our room was good value, as well as being clean and comfortable. It offered all the necessities, including Wi-Fi. It's a great place to stay if you are taking in some of the local points of interest or passing through on business.

My daughter and I stayed there the weekend of her wedding in New Glasgow. We had the whole top floor above the office, it was very spacious and modern, we had more than enough room for all our friends and family who dropped in for a visit. Since then whenever any of the family are in New Glasgow for a... More

This unpretentious motel was just perfect for a good night's rest, peace to get the paper work done, good bed, lots of hot water for the shower and a quick breakfast. Just off the highway but very quiet. Thank you to the Pictou County Co-op for organizing this.

Somewhat dated motor-coach style motel. Thin sheets and so-so bed. Dirty carpet. Everything felt damp. The only advantage is it is real close to the PEI ferry terminal. Recommend staying at the Glasgow Comfort Inn, instead.

We stopped in this place on our way home from the Cabot Trail certainly nothing special. Lady at front desk helpful but motel certainly needs upgrading. Would not stay there again. Place was clean but for the money stay somewhere else. We stayed at a few motels but I guess hotels are better.

We drove from Ontario and spent a few days at the Tara while enjoying the sights of the East Coast. The room was clean and bright, the staff were friendly and helpful, the neighbours were quiet (the graveyard), and I enjoyed my bottomless cup of coffee each morning. We even got a glimpse of the deer that visit the apple... More

After we checked in we saw the graveyard and got the creeps. The motel is a bit shabby. The price was not cheap at $120 you can stay at the Delta in Halifax for another $20, Shabby rooms. Would not recommend this place.

the motel locates beside the grave. when I book the motel, it said it has WI-FI, but it did not work when I stay there. The price is more expensive. I can stay one better using that price. I will never stay there again.
