Funny to see the fact that there are only 2 hotels in KL, should probably be a couple more. Even more odd is the price discrepancy between the 2. Despite KL Inn's obvious advantage, they have never appeared complacent in their treatment of guests. The staff is quite friendly and the hotel is in a perfect location, just steps from... More

I was actually referred to this hotel, and couldn't figure out why. There was mold on the bathroom floor, stains on the carpets and to top it all off, I came home with a terrible rash all over my body. NEVER again will I stay at this hotel, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

I was surprised to see so many "unhappy" reviews as I have had a great experience here on a couple different occasions. Staff was polite and very helpful, had an updated room, hotel was quiet, and everything was clean. People are too quick to post negative reviews so I wanted to pass along the good experiences I had at the... More

First and last stay here, Counter lady was very upfront about the fact that we could "Go and stay @ the Comfort Inn if we didn't like the price" Which would be a viable option, if it wasn't twice as costly ... Restaurant & Bar has been "closed for renovations" for months... But no reduction in price, or warning on... More

As others have said, Kirkland Lake doesn't have many options for accommodations. I ended up staying here for work and was disappointed. The missing workstation/desk is annoying and the stale air smell is just awful. Rooms are in desperate need of upgrades - the bathroom tile is pretty gross. Staff were relatively pleasant but not really exceptional. Though more expensive,... More

This place is wooden framed with paper thin walls. I often thought people in the hallway or room next door were in he room with me. Front desk people were not that helpful (I desperately needed to wash clothes and they didn't give much insight into where I could go or whether any any places were open. I couldn't tell... More

It's not like you have a lot of options in Kirkland Lake, either the Comfort Inn or the Kirkland Inn and the property owners appear to have this figured out. While the outside of the main building has been refreshed, the rooms are very dated with old furnishings and poor beds. For the rates you can find much better deals... More

Okay, not a place I would want to go for my 10th anniversary, but for an overnight stay by myself it was fine. My room was clean and reasonably spacious. Front desk service was good.Slept like a rock! At half the cost of the Comfort Inn, this is good value to me!

If your on TripAdvisor your likely looking for honest reviews of lodging etc. Please, heed my warning. Pay the extra and stay somewhere else! While the staff were fine, the rooms are absolutely terrible!!! The beds are old, there was enough dust on the old furniture to write our names. The bathroom fan was covered in black mold. We actually... More
