We loved this beautiful inn. Our room was absolutely charming. We could have stayed here for several days instead of the two nights we did stay. And the view outside the windows was of the sea, red cliffs, waves. Really beautiful place. And the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfasts--we had such fun with them.... More

This inn has the most incredible view...from all the rooms. We arrived on a very windy day that made outdoor walking unpleasant however the ambiance and warmth of all the rooms more than made up for it!!! We were able to explore a bit the next day after a lovely breakfast. The main floor living area is set up for... More

The view is breathtaking at this Inn. The view is the red cliffs that meet the sea. Accommodations are very good and a delicious breakfast is served. There are places to drive for lunches and dinner, and the owners will be very helpful with this info as well as ferry schedules, places of interest. The living area is large with plenty... More

Turn off the highway onto a picture perfect PEI dirt road. Drive the windy road through the trees and watch for the spectacular ocean view opening before you - lovely white colonial inn on the open field overlooking the red cliffs and ocean waves-Wow! Fantastic views from every window - room 9 and 12 get the sunrise and sunset. Breakfast... More

We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this resort on September 10th as part of a cycling group. We arrived late in the afternoon and were nicely greeted by one of the owners, Julie. She offered us a choice of one of two rooms - she really did not need to do this because all rooms are gorgeous with... More

We followed the advice of others and popped the extra for Room #9. Amazing views of the Ocean, even though the weather tried to hide the sunset/sunrise. Friendly owners and very helpful with local information and route to the ferry. If we get back to PEI, this is a definite stop!

This was my 4th trip to this gem and I would recommend it to any one. It has a spectacular view of the sea and is a serene place to relax and get away from it all. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and great even to look at! The view from the bedroom was stunning! It... More

When Paul McCartney wrote "Long and Winding Road" he could have been referring to the driveway leading up to Johnson Shore Inn. But it's really worth it to go down that road. Julie was an enthusiastic and welcoming host, and the second floor bedroom we had (number 8) was quite nice. The common room has the feel of a classic... More

What more can I say?! My stay at the Johnson Shore Inn was by far, hands down, the best part of my time in P.E.I. This Inn offers everything a person/family looking for a "getaway" is looking for. Quiet, serenity, beautiful sunrises and sunsets and the absolute best innkeepers that anyone could ask for. Julie and Arla made my stay... More

this is a quite inn at a very scenic spot, atop red stoned cliffs, with good views of the ocean and wilderness for miles. this is what prompted me to pick this place and it turned out to be the worst decision had ever taken. once inside the inn, you are left at the mercy of two whimsical innkeepers who... All attempts were made to accommodate these guest. Room price was established prior to check in and upon arrival the couple was belligerent and combative with regards to the price. Our rooms are not equipped with kitchens and they found this unacceptable. I suggested an alternative accommodation close by that had full kitchens, they did not wish to leave. To... More
