Had a good nights sleep here after a long day driving on early winter roads from Anchorage. Check-in was friendly and quick, the $99 price was about right for the Yukon and the room is clean and spacious. There's a flat screen TV in the room, more than a few channels and the water pressure in the shower is wondrous... More

The pie is good, the pizza was edible...barely. There aren't many place to stop along the way. You might be better served by carrying a cooler, stove, & cooking your own. I've stayed in the rooms before. Don't expect much, but hey at least it's not a tent!

If you get to Destruction bay, and need a room, you have one choice; here; but it really is ok; clean, lots of hot water, somewhat non smoking, lots of rooms, and food available; a bar too, often needed at the end of a 500 mile day. Although the rooms were nonsmoking, people hung right outside entryways smoking & talking/laughing loudly until very late at night. As walls were thin, this was disruptive. ....Highway 1, the Alaska Highway, is closed between Haines junction and Destruction Bay due to a washout near Km 1639....so we stayed here! Wonderful place...a really windy place with a nice view!

Stayed here last year. Rooms were very neat and clean. Encountered two of the most exceptional employees I have ever seen. Anita was funny and witty and an absolute delight to deal with.
