Situated in the heart of colonial Patzcuaro, Michoacan, which is considered a "Pueblo Magico" & located in the mountains of Mexico, this super charming B&B has everything to offer. The absolutely beautiful & authentic renovation by Mexican artisans of a 200 yr. old house is filled with top quality Mexican folk art & paintings. The gardens are lush & full... More

A group of 9 extraordinary women gathered in Patzcuaro for a week-long painting workshop. The gardens were perfect for our daily demonstrations and painting sessions. The B&B was wonderfully situated within a short walk of the city center and sightseeing base for surrounding areas, which include Morelia and the Butterflies. Service was excellent and went beyond the call duty to... More

Located in the small, authentic colonial town of Patzcuaro, Villa Victoria is a beautifully restored mini-hacienda where rooms, furnished with Mexican handicrafts and artifacts, open into a lush courtyard with a fountain in the center that provides pleasant background water music. The highlight is the living/dining room where guests are greeted in the morning to a toasty fire and classical... More

We often try to cram too much into a holiday and forget the objective is usually to relax. Patzcuaro is relaxing in itself, but Villa Victoria is a relaxing holiday haven only steps from the new central plaza. The 230 yr. old home has been restored to its original beauty and it is only the absence of horse hooves on... More

Villa Victoria is beautiful and a perfect place to base your adventures in Patzcuaro. You really can't imagine how lovely this hacienda is until you've spent some time there. The rooms are outstanding with fireplaces, heated mattresses and wonderful bedding, spacious bathrooms and the internet works in every room! Every evening there is a fire in the main living room... Stayed in Villa Victoria after travelling through many cities and having a cold, this place was just the perfect spot to spend my last 4 days in Mexico. The room and bathroom was spacious and tastefully decorated, is like I was staying in a 18th century hacienda. Having the mattress warmers and the fireplace was very useful, nights in Patzcuaro... Some good friends suggested we change our planned B&B in Patzcuaro to Villa Victoria and we were glad they did. The owner, Michael Cullin, has put his architectural and artistic stamp on this colonial renovation par excellence and every detail was lovely, elegant and luxurious. Our suite, the San Miguel, was spacious and stunning. It was chilly outdoors in January... More

Years ago, we were introduced to Villa Victoria by the then manager while it was under construction. Have stayed twice in the Sta Clara king suite and are returning on our drive from San Miguel de Allende to Hotel las Palmas in Zihua in January. Fabulous breakfast and charming suites. Quite warm in winter w/fireplace; heated floors, and electric heaters... More

This was our 2nd visit to Patzcuaro, and this time we chose Villa Victoria over one of the many local Mx hotels. We are ex-pats living in Mx 7 yrs, travel Mx extensively, and this B&B is our most favorite to date. We’ve stayed in many moderately priced Mx hotels, but based on reviews and photos chose here, wanted a... More

We stayed at Villa Victoria in January for 4 days. The guest rooms and common spaces are inviting and spacious. This old vintage Patzcuaro hacienda has been restored with loving care and with great attention to detail. The home feels old and modern at the same time. The gardens are beautiful and the Moorish style fountains lull you to sleep... More
