We really enjoyed this small hotel in Patzcuaro. The hotel is located in an old convent and the owner has decorated the public areas and guest rooms with local folkart. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very safe and have never seen any incidents during our stay. To much of a negative thing has been written in USA papers about Michoacan. I've been coming for twenty years and each time it has been great. I hope you decide to come, it's beautiful !!!

This was my second visit to Casa Encantada. It is beautiful, well-located, comfortable with tasty breakfasts. Every detail is well-thought out to appeal to the US traveler (which most occupants are). Service is perfect and gracious.

This B&B is very close to the Central Square in Patzcuaro. Its rooms are colorfully decorated and roomy. Electric mattress covers and gas fireplaces help to take the chill off during the cold nights. Very nice breakfasts were served. I would recommend this property.
