the many positive reviews here get it exactly right. rustically elegant rooms. a wonderful family. charming backyard garden. an interesting city well worth the trip/stay if you find yourself on the Yucatan Penisula and want something a bit more authentic than might be found in the rocking tourist-oriented coastal towns. We shared a wonderful new year's day pinata party with... More

This is a very charming "petit hotel" with super friendly staff and simple yet beautiful rooms. It has no pool (the kids were a bit disappointed) but plenty of places to go have a swim nearby. Beautiful garden. Breakfast is a highlight!! They also gave us great advice on places to go.

We stayed for two nights recently during a mini tour of the Yucatan. Casa Tia Micha was the best place we stayed in. Very pleasant family run place with only three units all of which we saw and all looked delightful. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was fabulous. Traditional Mexican, beamed ceilings, air con, marble double bath... More

Wonderful people own and work at this quiet immaculate hotel. Sunny dispositions all, and engaging. Large room and bath, with high ceiling and lots of windows. It overlooked the interior garden where great breakfasts were found daily. Perfectly located 1/2 block off the Zocalo. Will stay nowhere else in Valladolid.

First of all the hotel looks nice and everything is brandnew. But for the price you pay you would atleast expect a clerk that speaks english, and here there is no one that does. You pay 120,- dollar for a room and there is not even a swimming pool. The climate in the yucatan is getting very hot, and one... More

We loved this place. Our room was extraordinary beautiful and quiet... A very good bathroom and perfect bed. The breakfast in the garden was great: fruits, eggs and lots of local dishes. And on top of this: very nice people. We felt like staying at friends. And of course we liked the pretty city of Valladolid! Thank you for 3... More

We stayed here in early March and couldn't have been happier with Casa Tia Micha. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the inn itself was beautiful. We were given a bottle of wine which we thoroughly enjoyed on in their garden courtyard at at night. The breakfast was wonderful (also in the courtyard). The location is perfect for exploring... The owner and employees are friendly, accommodating, sincere, and want you to love Valladolid. From our late arrival on our first day (someone had been waiting for us, and rushed over to open the gate to the parking area) to our early morning departure on our last day( 2 hours before breakfast normally starts, there was someone there to give...
