Unless you are attending a party somewhere in the immediate vacinity I would not recommend. The rooms have clean sheets but the floors were filthy. The heating was good in the room but the bathroom is un-heated. There was a lot of noise from the extractor fan in the room above and there is no sound insulation - we were... More

The Travelodge was very hard to find - we arrived on foot and did not see the fairly small sign, and would have walked halfway to Seer Green looking for it if we hadn't asked at the Fish and Chip shop. It is tucked away in the pub car park behind the One Stop shop. The heating and ventilation in... More

We had a perfectly adequate one night stay following a party in the area. Flexible arrival & departure times. Good directions [on website]. Polite staff. Good taxi partner. But agree with other reviews: would not have wanted to stay more than 1 night. Clean but not spotless rooms. Comfy bed but only 1 pillow each and 1 spare. No phone... More

One night was more than enough. It is cheap and it is also central in Old Town Beaconsfield, but it also quite dirty, the windows cannot be opened and it doesn´t feel particularly safe either. There is no proper reception, even though the girl standing behind the small desk was friendly enough. There is no breakfast served, but you can... More

I found this hotel to be very comfortable, even though it is the at the economy end of the market. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Was very pleased with the room that seemed bigger than the usual for a travelodge, which was the same for the bathroom. Our room was spotlessly clean and fresh with a... More

Very tired and in need of update. Loud pub next door with security lights that shine through the ill fitting blinds. Extras all very expensive such as wifi. No plugs near the bed to be able to charge phone. Located behind a pub surrounded by "youths" with frequent visits from police riot vans. Security lights from the pub glared through... More

Travelodge took over this already faded hotel a while ago, gave it a wipe with a damp rag, changed the signage and gave the rooms a lick of very cheap paint. Heating - once upon a time the place had central heating - you can see where the radiators once were and the stubs of the pipes. Ancient electric heaters... More

I usually stay at B & B's - or hostels .... so I was already thinking 'really expensive' at 59 pounds for one night........ I just hadn't been able to find reasonably priced accommodation nearby. Then the stinger ....... 5 pounds for one hour of wifi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 pounds for ? 24 hours (or in any case ... more than... More

The Beaconsfield Hotel has really gone downhill since we first began using it when it was an Innkeepers Lodge. It is now very plain with Zero facilities. At least when it was tied to the pub you had a breakfast included. The 2nd night I stayed (Sat)there was a lot of noise around 2-4 am especially from the front door banging... More

Stayed here for 1 night on 29th September. Hotel seemed OK until we got into room. Very run down and dated. Wallpaper coming off walls in various locations (Sellotape holding some bits on), mould around bathroom window and growing up wall by toilet. Bed very creaky leading to poor nights sleeps combined with 3 pillows to share between the 2... More
