Everything worked, except the shower wetted the bathroom floor. Just a very average place which is acceptable if you have to stay in the area. The restaurant is a Brewers' Fayre branded chain. Not for pleasure, but does the job. Too expensive, compared to an independant B&B.

Warm and friendly welcome, Jackie the receptionist was lovely. Room clean and fresh will definately recommend a stay here. Money wise it is good value and the room was excellent with a garden view... excellent sleep

Excellent hotel, clean and quiet, the staff on check in was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and fresh and very quiet, had an excellent nights sleep. The restaurant service was excellent, staff very helpful. The food was good. Will use hotel again

Stayed overnight for work a couple of times in March and have had good experiences. It's a no frills room for the night. Clean, comfortable and reasonable. The breakfast is good and the pub meals are also good. Would stay again no worries.

It's never going to be fluffy and nice, but as a chain it does its job very well - reasonably-priced rooms, staff that are well chosen (ie they are genuinely friendly and helpful without being in your face), and really a great breakfast (not cheap, but definitely worth it).
