Having passed this place many times, we thought we'd give a try and we was not disappointed by the food. It was very good and good value too. If I had one issue, it's lack of choice on The Two meals for £10 menu, aside from this...we would defiantly return for a future visit.

Had a very enjoyable evening here. The staff made us feel most welcome from walking through the door. We hadn't booked, and although the bar was full they made room for us in the restaurant. Booked in here for three nights. Lovely cosy and clean room and nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff. Evening meal was hot and tasty and the puddings to die for! Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a work trip. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible - nothing was too much trouble, from early breakfasts to hearty evening meals. The rooms were clean and cosy with a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. Don't hesitate to book!

We stayed here for two nights. As a TV crew, we get up early and the hotel were happy to accommodate all of our requests. Food was of a really high standard, all locally sourced, the crew LOVED the burgers. Lovely setting, brilliant team, hope they do well.

Excellent, friendly service, family run and very accommodating whatever the request, useful local knowledge, great food and drinks and a friendly, warm atmosphere. Plenty of parking, easy to find and warm, clean accommodation- good showers. Will definitely be back soon
