A really lovely hotel. The best breakfast we have ever had cooked in front of your own eyes! Very well maintained large double room with en suite facilities. Stayed here as an overnight stop going for a holiday in the Peak District. Booked last minute and got a fabulous deal.

A lovely place with very well maintained individually designed rooms, excellent staff who are very pleasant and an outstanding breakfast. Would be a great hotel for a weekend away for a couple as the area is very nice too.

Only booked this because other local hotels were full - so glad they were as it was more than we hoped for in an overnight stay. Welcome extremely friendly and informative, beautifully presented property and an excellent breakfast - if you decide to stay remember to ask about the walled garden !

stayed for one night on our way to our holiday, very warm welcome, lovely room and bathroom with lots of hot water, hosts very welcoming and informative, most fabulous cooked breakfast, one of the best you could have.

We were travelling across the country to pick my son up for the Christmas break from Loughborough university, on the way back we also were picking up his girlfriend from De Montfort university in Leicester. Stayed here recently as I was visiting a relative in Nottingham.Couldn't fault the place.Everything was perfect from the luxury of the room to the fabulous breakfast.Everyone very friendly and welcoming. Had a lovely meal in The Otter Pub just up the road. Would definitely return if in the area again.
