Lovely hostess, couldn't do enough to help us. Accomodation to a very high standard and food is excellent. Very nice surroundings.Ideally placed for sightseeing in North Yorkshire. Although on a main road, no traffic noise whatsoever, and a very good nights sleep. Will be back next year

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this delightful b and b. We were given a warm welcome, the room was excellent - clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was a feast with plenty of options. Would thoroughly recommend the Poplars and will definitely return if we are in this part of the country again.

Beautiful B & B very modern and spacious, large fluffy towels and crisp white bed linen, Lovely Hosts, Immaculate throughout, delicious breakfast. Location perfect for Thirsk racecourse. Lovely pub 300 hundred yards away and also a couple of nice pubs in village 3 mins away by car.

Stayed one night in Wenslydale room. Beautifully decorated, excellent breakfast, and a very warm welcome from Amanda, the owner. Excellent value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough and look forward to staying again.
