Have stayed at the Divan several times now, and will definitely come back again. The staff are friendly and always very helpful making our stay very enjoyable and very good value for money.

Arrived and nobody to greet us the place seems empty. We got booked in by what seemed to be the cook! She was very pleasant never the less. the hotel was very isolated, it said bar meals but these are only available in the eveningour room was small with only one bedside table .the hotel was empty and lacked atmosphere .the staff were friendly but there needsto be alterations to make thisa three star the breakfast was average and we felt it was very over priced

we stayed at this lovely family run hotel for 1 night, the staff could not do enough for us and the food was fantastic and the sunday carvery was even better. I would recomend this hotel to all.

The staff were rude and offensive and clearly had no idea of what good customer services is.

You can't walk to Thirsk as there is a busy road with no footpath. The rooms are modern but small and basic. It was not that freindly. The breakfast was basic with no real choice.
