First time staying with my group and I must say I am truly impressed with the place and Sparrow, our host. Place is clean and quiet and loads of information about the area in regards as to what to do. Definitely recommended!

This is the perfect stopover for a Nordegg climbing/camping trip. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the staff is amazing. I always look forward to popping in for a night every chance I get. I would recommend this hostel to anyone.

This was my first trip to Nordegg. We were a group of four friends. One of my friends stayed in this hostel before. She highly recommended the hostel when we were thinking about a place to stay. We got a room on the second floor with two single beds and one double bed. The room was clean and tidy. Washrooms... More

My three teenage boys and I stayed here last summer (July 2011). We had no idea what a hostel was and so hadn't brought any food. The staff greeted us with open arms and shared the food they had! They told us where to go and what to visit. We felt like we were in a real community with people... More

We were welcomed by the host into a warm and peaceful hostel. A fire was lit as it was raining and chilly. Superb knowledge of the area and wowed our boys with a geology map of the area. If you're looking for a clean and friendly stop in peaceful surroundings then this is a must.

My wife and I took our 5-year-old son to this hostel for a night and ended up staying for three. There's a great lake nearby to swim in, lots of mountain biking/hiking trails just right for his level - and the hostel itself is fantastic! The hot tub was a big hit for him, the private family rooms are perfect,... More
