First time staying with my group and I must say I am truly impressed with the place and Sparrow, our host. Place is clean and quiet and loads of information about the area in regards as to what to do. Definitely recommended!

You can visit the Siffleur wilderness area, Abraham Lake, North Saskatchewan river, Kootenays Ecological reserve and so much more. Take a short drive on the Forestry Trunk road and you're in a whole other area. You can take the Forestry Trunk Road north to Edson Hwy 16 or south to just west of Cochrane Hwy 1A. But be aware this is a graveled highway and can be rough at times.HI-Nordegg is located just out of the Banff National Park, so you don't have to pay park fees. There is a whole lot of FREEdom out here.
