Most probably rating this a very good is a bit harsh, but we had just come from Clovelly and for us - and i mean just for us, it did not feel quiet as intimate. That having been said, we could not fault the place. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our villa. Beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable bed.... More

We stayed one night during the week & booked there weekday special, which included dinner & breakfast. After travelling through the hills of Montville & Maleny we arrived at Spicer’s Tamarind retreat. The first impression when you drive through the gates is how tranquil the place is and well maintained landscaping. Arriving at the reception was a pleasure both at... More

After searching similar getaway locations close to Brisbane, I decided on Tamarind and we were not disappointed. The location was off the beaten track with beautiful gardens and clean modern facilities. Luxury everywhere you turned. The staff were always friendly & happy. Bundy the dog's smile summed it up! Own private cedar spa & log fire place. Quiet, Idyllic location... More

I can hardly believe this resort is not number 1 in its area and am certain it will be any moment! It is impeccable, from the booking, welcome, accommodation quality, service, thoughtful extras, sensational sleep, tranquil bushland setting, food and drinks, to the checkout! I stayed here during a busy Christmas Day and the bustling restaurant experience was smooth, impressive... More

We were here for a Maleny Commerce Business Breakfast. Billed as the top accommodation in the area we expected there to be a vegetarian option, but no chance so along with the rather distant staff we found it very poor value. Poor coffee, surely somewhere with this reputation can do a decent coffee, but no. Very disappointed.

Dear Tony, Thank you for your feedback. As previously mentioned were were trialing a new commercial grade multi pour coffee machine which caters for numbers of 40+ ideal when guests need to arrive and be seated quickly such as this meeting. I have had this retreat down on my 'bucket list' and it didn't disappoint. From the beautiful surroundings to the superb villas and devine food. Certainly a real treat. I brought friends with us and we had a 2 bedroom villa. It was very private and well equped to enjoy on our own and take advantage of the facilities on... More

Dear Imation, The 2 bedroom villas that can also be used as a one bedroom have become very popular. The spaciousness in the lounge room, bedrooms and deck area really lend themselves to a comfortable 3 to 7 night stay. Being able to accommodate children or 2 couples for special occasions as you did make them affordable, fun and private.... More

I recently visited the Tamarind Spa retreat. The setting was lovely and peaceful and the presentation of the Spa was clean, eco and modern. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had the Signature treatment which was great. I felt very relaxed at the end of my treatment. They offered me a welcome drink, a choice of music for... More
