We had a groupon offer for the afternoon tea. Although the dining area was quite small it was very nicely layed out. The staff were very good and attentive. The afternoon tea was very good and to be honest we could not finish what we had. It started with a glass of champagne then sandwiches and a three tier cake... More

My daughter had her wedding reception at the Kilns Hotel, it was the best decision she made, we couldn't have asked for any more from the wonderful staff who were all so supportive and helpful. Deborah gave her personal attention to all the arrangements and organised everything with efficiency and patience, a lovely lady. The food was fantastic, (especially the... More

I stayed at the Kilns while on business and was very impressed as I normally stay in large chain hotels for business. The room was clean, and to a good standard and well equipped. The food was excellent and I will stay here again.

Had a wonderful afternoon spent in the pleasant surroundings of this hotel. Was greeted upon arrival with champagne and sat in the lounge bar on very comfortable furniture. Taken into the restaurant and served tea, nice sandwiches and lovely homemade cakes and scones. Was made to feel welcome and had excellent attentive service, even though it was fairly busy. The... Had a lovely afternoon tea served up in lovely crockery. Good service and polite staff. I booked through Groupon and did ask for non alcoholic alternative to champagne and I also asked for no cheese or cream when I booked. We were given an orange juice but cream pastries and when I asked if they had any pastries or cake... More
