stayed three nights, have been to other bay hotels and this on is one of the better ones. although décor in rooms are showing signs of wear ,they are very clean. staff are very helpful and cant do enough to make your stay more pleasant . food was very good with a good selection. entertainment on Saturday and Sunday night... “Ok break”

Stayed in this hotel with a coach tour and it was warm clean good food and friendly. Near the M5 so makes a over night stay possible. I would say contact first as this place does get busy with coach tours. Young staff but they give there all even when playing bingo what a laugh that is.

“Great value for money”

We paid £90 for 2 nights bed and breakfast for 2 and got great value for money. The hotel mainly caters for shearings coach parties and we were kept seperate from these holiday makers at dinner and breakfast! They did come into the bar with their coffee each evening though! We stayed at the Prince of Wales at the end of March on a Shearings break. In terms of value for money the hotel cannot be faulted. The room was warm, spacious and comfortable. (You mention the slight downside due to location so to compensate we do put on carefully planned daily coach trips which hopefully cater for most). The food was nice, like home cooked meals. there was even entertainment in the evenings too. The rooms were very clean and staff very friendly too. Was good value for money and would return again. Nice places to visit in the surrounding area like Bath and Bristol and Gloucester

Just back from a 4 night break at the "Prince of Wales". Our room number 8 was situated on the ground floor and looked out on a grass meadow at the rear of the hotel.
