Came upon The Swan Inn by chance - whilst driving through the New Forest - lunch and drinks - The cod was excellent as was the scampi - and such a massive helping. Obviously all food cooked to order - highly recommend The Swan. And very good value

A lovely rural pub with accommodation in the heart of the New Forest. The food and service was fantastic and the rooms were clean and great value for money. Heartily recommended, we will certainly return.

Located on the edge of the new forest this is a great place to pull in for a meal, menu is not huge but food is well cooked. Ample parking and nice surroundings. Weekends as you would expect get busy but both Saturday and Sunday after 3 is a great time to try it.

We had dinner here and on first impressions it looked very quiet, homely and cosy. There was an open fire so we sat at the table next to it! Called in this afternoon ( 20/01/13) ... Very cold day but it all looked amazing in the snow , the log fire inside was inviting :-) Thankfully it was peaceful ... Was greated nicely by a lovely young girl on the bar who was helpfull and informative ordered our drinks and food once the food came out we where very happy by the size but then realised it was a very poor the beef and lamb where very tuff and tasteless over cooked would be being nice to say the least...
