We were both 64, so, in the spirit of fun and romance, we decided we needed to go to the Isle of Wight and rent a cottage if it's not too dear... as the Beatles sang. We went without reservations. As luck would have it, we stumbled upon Albert's Cottage as soon as we drove off of the ferry. The... More

We travelled over to the Isle of Wight for a family wedding May 25th, on the Friday the weather was absolutly awfull wind, rain and very cold but awoke on Saturday to lovely warm sunshine. The reception was held at Albert Cottage Hotel and what a perfect location it is. The staff could not have done more or been anymore... More

This is a really suitable accommodation for Osborne House visit and it is in theme with its architecture and style. It was once part of the ancient property. Our room (n. 7) was very nicely furnitured, bright and comfortable. The breakfast and restaurant can be improved but it is well worth spending your holiday there.

I stayed at the Albert Hotel a couple of days before Christmas. I had intended to write a review back then never got the time or chance. Three months later, still in my mind that I had a lovely stay in a truly beautiful hotel. I would recommend The Albert Hotel as one of the finest hotel to stay .... More

Stayed here at the beginning of march. The hotel was very quiet but we enjoyed the quiet. Great location- short walk to east cowes and Osbourne house. We had a huge, clean, lavish room with a huge bathroom. Service was friendly and professional, only feedback would be a reception and desk as it was a bit strange checking in and... More

Last night was my third visit to the hotel for a meal in their Consort Restaurant. This time i was quite impressed, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent and presented well. This will not be my last visit.

We decided to spend a winter weekend on The Isle of Wight. We could not have found a better hotel, the staff were excellent, the room was spacious, clean and well decorated. We were treated to a superb meal with fine wine and all at a very reasonable cost. It was really encouraging to find that there are still wonderful... More

I have just returned from a three night stay at the Albert Cottage with my mum, my husband and my 7 year old daughter and we had such a wonderful time. The reason we chose to stay here was because of my daughter's fascination with history and because this has such a close link to Osborne House (it used to... More

We stayed for two nights, returning home today. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite. The room was beautiful, spotless, warm and in general, all round perfect. We booked a table for dinner. The food was superb as was the service. Prices were very reasonable, including the wine prices. Fantastic nights sleep on... More

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at Albert Cottage. It was absolutely brilliant. The staff were out of this world with their help and organisation. The food was out of this world. All my guests have been talking about it, and five weeks after they still are talking about how good it all was. We stayed in the... More
