Spent a night here and was treated excellently. This B&B is quaint and the rooms are unique. They are tucked into all parts of the house. We stayed in a room at the top of the house and were very happy with the accommodations. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. The host even brought out toys for our one-year-old... More

We arrived for the easter weekend and were met my the owner Mike, who welcomed us all and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very quaint with drink making facilities in the room.My only criticism would be the safety issue withe the multi socket for the kettle etc, but we had no issues. Breakfast was... More

A quaint tucked away part of the town, with the idyllic sound of Church Bells ringing on Easter Sunday and the old fashioned hospitality which seems long since gone, in today’s busy world. The owners are charming and welcoming, and clearly want the guest to want for nothing. This is demonstrated by the emergency box of weekend away essentials, which... More

The main drawback is that you will need to book well ahead as this charming bed and breakfast has been discovered. The location is central , the hosts friendly, the building characterful and the room very appealing. We stayed in an attic room which was attractive comfortable and clean. We were just 2 adults but there was room for 2... More

This utterly beautiful B&B is outstanding - the building and furniture are exquisite, the accommodation excellent, the breakfasts brilliant and hosts Sally and Mike lovely - couldn't have been more friendly. We have stayed in the number one B&B in England and in our opinion this matches it. We will most definitely be going again. It is all it says... More

Why would anyone needing to stay somewhere in the middle of the country, choose one of those soulless TravExpress Inns where you are just a Room Number in a standardised box? The Clockmakers scores highly for offering easy access to the central motorways, East Midlands Airport and various business centres - but is so much more than just that. A... More

We just stayed for one night but it was lovely, the owners were very accomodating about when we checked in and out, giving us keys so we could come and go. The room was clean with a good shower and nice decor, very comfortable and in a great location. It was also excellent value.

Spent 2 nights at The Clockmakers whilst doing a course in Ashby. Lovely little B&B, very clean and comfortable. Owners could not have been more helpful and attentive. Rooms very clean, well decorated and some lovely touches (choccy biscuits in the room!). Great location in the town which has plenty of restaurants and cafes and niche shops. Would definitely recommend.

Arrived to a very warm welcome from the owner. Rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy with all the facilities you would normally find in a first class hotel including some lovely little treats on the tea tray. There was even a DVD player in the room with a large library of DVDs to chose from in the lounge. Fresh milk... More

There is nothing to fault with this charming, beautifully kept guest house. The rooms are very comfortable and well furnished. The location in central Ashby is quiet but very handy for the pubs and restaurants in the High Street. There is a warm and friendly welcome and a superb breakfast. Definitely number 1 in the area.
