Firstly, please accept my apologies for the abbreviation of the town name...Tripadvisor would not accept my review using the full name of the town, as it was refused on the grounds of using profanity! My Wife & I, along with another couple, stayed here for 2 nights while attending a gig in Scunny This Travelodge is exactly what we expected,... More

Probably the most basic Travelodge I've ever stayed in but you can't complain given the price of the rooms. The receptionist was extremely helpful answering questions, moving me to a ground floor room as I had an extremely heavy trolleycase and sorting out an iron and ironing board. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants ranging from fast food to chain... More

Its in a convenient position and it is what it is, somewhere to sleep for the night. Within walking distance there is a Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Frankie and Benny's (breakfast £5), KFC and a pub (2 for £10 type) and a whole host of retail shops across the road. We went for Travelodge's breakfast (£4.05p) which consists of cornflakes, pains... More

Decor very tired, stained carpets etc but good price and location. Good friendly pub next door for evening meal. One concern was that i had booked a disabled double, and on arrival discovered there was no TV remote. When i asked reception, was merely told that this was the case in several rooms, with no offer to try and find... More

I booked a 3 night stay but missed the 1st night due to delays getting to the hotel. when my partner & i checked in, we recieved a very warm friendly welcome. As i was unfamiliar with the area the receptionist gave me a breif history if the local area and pointed out places that may be of intrest.

The staff are excellent but the room we stayed in was scruffy, tired and the mattress was in a dreadful state. Every time we turned over the groans from the mattress woke us up! I reckon this particular mattress was probably worn out years ago!!! Broken tv remote, dirty kettle, stains on carpet and scruffy put you up sofa are... More

Overall OK but it was the lumpiness bed we have ever slept in. I would be hard pressed to return. The room was as expected for this brand. The best thing was the location which was very convenient although probably best avoided when there is a home match.

I suppose £40 for an overnight stay is reasonable but the place was run down, furniture stained and threadbare plus lorries parking outside your window with their engines running is not good. Appreciate they mention the lorry park on the web site but you dont realise until you arrive it is literally all you can see out of your window... More

Unfortunately we couldn't get a cheap deal and paid £32, which I know isn't much, but I've stayed in many Travelodges and this doesn't compare to them. It is in desperate need of a refurbish. This one is also on a Retail Park, which surprised us, but did mean there were many choices of where to eat on your doorstep!... More

I am only glad the deal was £19. The beds are shot and the mattress needed replacing. The bathroom needs a complete overhaul with the silicone going mouldy and the vinyl flooring peeling off the wall. I am just glad I only paid £19 and not the usual full price. Go to the premier inn the other side of town,... More
