We have stayed at the Game Cock a few times now, and have never been disappointed. The rooms are great value compared to other places in the area. Rooms aren't ensuite, but this shouldn't put you off as the bathroom is clean and spacious, plus there aren't many rooms so we have never had trouble with waiting for the bathroom.... More

Eric and staff have not failed again. We had a very enjoyable meal with good attentive staff, traditional French and English all served with pan ash, the plates are a pleasure to the eye as well as the pallet. Good Thawtes Ale and a nice Rio cha was the icing on the cake. We will be back..
