An exceptional, immaculate B&B with wonderful hosts and a stellar breakfast. From the cup of tea on arrival every aspect of Bramble Cottage is considered. The homemade bircher muesli and local sausages are highlights of an excellent breakfast.

Bramble Cottage is a wonderful B&B. We stayed for two nights, the rooms are very comfortable spotless and spacious. Liz and Henry are a lovely couple, nothing is to much trouble. The cooked breakfast was amazing with homemade muesli & bread. Thank you for a great stay.

We arrived after a dreadful journey due to the bad weather only to be offered a lovely piece of cake and a cup of tea. That was just the start of a great weekend. We sadly stayed only one night at Bramble Cottage and couldn't rate it more highly. We arrived after spending the afternoon at Go Ape (another highly recommended) to be greeted by Liz & Henry, together with tea and delicious home made cakes. We stayed here for one night (2nd June) due to attending a wedding at The Star Inn. Liz made sure the room was ready by 11am for us so that we could get changed for the wedding, and they also arranged tea/coffee and cakes before we got ready. We had a two night break at Bramble Cottage and received a really warm welcome from Liz and Henry from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the Gold room which was spacious and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. We experienced lots of lovely touches - including tea and cake on arrival, lots of useful info on what to do... Stayed here to go for a meal at the Michelin-starred 'Star Inn' (which was superb) and the next night a concert at beautiful Nunnington Hall. We stayed in the Gold Room, everything is pristine, LIz and her partner are so friendly and hospitable. Breakfast delicious, and a perfect night's sleep.

Bramble Cottage is simply marvellous. It's a beautiful cottage, inside and out. We stayed in the large room with its stunning en-suite bathroom - gorgeous, free-standing roll-top bath and a spectacular shower. It's all beautifully designed and furnished.
