Just returned from our second stay at the Glenander. Superb hosts, lovely big, spotless rooms and excellent well cooked breakfasts. Yvonne and Ray are the loveliest people and the homemade scones on arrival just hit the spot. We will return!

We found this poor value for money (£75 per night in mid-October) and were expecting something better given you can get lots of good rooms for around £60 mark in north Northumberland. Warm welcome from friendly hosts. Big room (although the en-suite bathroom was a little small). Well positioned for pubs & restaurants. Great breakfast too. Decor was a little old fashioned for my taste but all clean and well maintained.

Nice clean rooms, good breakfast, and friendly hosts in the form of Ray and Yvonne. Location is pretty good too, close to Bamburgh's pubs and cafe/restaurants, and about 5-10 minutes walk from the castle and beach.

I am probably the most fussiest person in the world when it comes to staying in hotels or B&B's, but our stay at Glenander was perfect in every way - from the warm welcome from Ray and Yvonne, to the cleanest of rooms and non greasy cooked breakfast.

We spent two nights at Glenander; our room was spotless,light and airy,our welcome very warm... breakfasts excellent,with plenty of choice...Ray and Yvonne very helpful with advice...it's ideally situated for travelling to the surrounding places of interest,such as Lindisfarne... it's the best B and B we've experienced and we'd be happy to return.
