This is a charming hotel, set in lovely grounds. The room we had needs a wee bit of updating, but was comfortable and very clean, although a bit small. The hosts are charming also, and nothing is too much bother for them. The food is excellent and the breakfasts, are scrummy!! Would return again. More

My wife and I treated our grown up daughter and her boyfriend to a night at the Hotel. The staff were helpful and the rooms lovely. Breakfast was excellent and special care was taken as my wife is a vegetarian. The whole weekend was lovely though our daughter believes their room was haunted. More

We were a party of twelve and stayed 2 nights, 1st night dinner was included in our deal with superbreak, food was very good all of us enjoyed our meal. Food was so good we stayed in the hotel for dinner on the second night. I found the staff and owners very friendly and helpful. More

It's not that this hotel was bad, just very dissappointing in service and food. It didn't help that it was cold. The owner did introduce himself in the dining room, but if he had asked what we thought, we would have suggested changing the chef, followed by the waiting staff.
