Came with a group of friends for another trip. Everyone couldn't wait to come back as we had amazing weekend here in September 2012. As the organiser of the trip, I was only worried that it wouldn't top the last time as we truly had an amazing weekend... However I needn't have worried at all. Checking in the owner was... More

We came for the weekend to celebrate a friends birthday, it was brilliant. The BBQ hut is great, all communal areas really nice and clean. We stayed in the large yurt, really warm and cosy inside even though it was the wettest weekend ever outside. The staff were lovely, would defiantly stay again.

Called at pot-a-doodle-do whilst on our holidays in Northumberland, was a rainy day so this place is perfect to pass on a couple of hours with the kids. Has a cafe and an outdoor play area too however we only went for the crafts. Loads of different bowls, cups, etc for you to pick and paint ranging from £8 plus.... More

We have just returned from a lovely weekend in Northumberland. A friend and I hired one of the en-suite Wigwams as we thought it would be easier as we had a girl aged 5 and boy aged 7. As we arrived after the shop closed we collected the key from the farm house and were greeted warmly and given directions... More

After a weekend trip over New Year to Lindisfarne I fell in love with this beautiful piece of England and promised myself that I would share this with my children. After the usual late night Internet surfing, I stumbled across Pot-a-doodle-do; actually I think it was by way of Trip Advisor reviews. I had been close to booking the nearby... More

We had a great weekend in one of the ensuite wigwams, it was very clean, lovely and warm - the height of luxury camping. The wigwam also had a fridge which was really useful. The staff were really friendly, the burgers from the shop (produced from the farm) were amazing in the BBQ hut. The communal kitchen was great, well... More

Myself and 4 friends just spent a weekend in the Wigwams at Pot-a-doodle-do and I have to say we all had a fabulous time! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had booked two wigwams as well as a bbq hut for one of the nights and had also requested a camp fire outside of one of the wigwams.... More

We visited for a very chilly, windy, wet and occasionally sunny weekend in March. The welcome was warm, as was the wigwam, and the standard of the accommodation and shared toilet/kitchen block matched all expectations. We had a great time on the site and on the nearby beach between showers. A great weekend and we heartily recommend it and will... More

I visited on a very cold, wet and windy weekend in March! In my party were myself and a friend and our kids (two 5 year olds and a 2 1/2 year old). We arrived and collected our keys from the farmhouse, it was too wet for our pre-booked campfire but this was refunded no problem at all. The wig... More

Just returned from a short stay in the large yurt. Seven of us fitted comfortably and were super cosy and warm despite it being October. Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was so well equipped that we could have travelled far more lightly than we did. Communal areas were immaculately clean and warm. We can't wait to return... More
