My wife and I stayed for 2 nights over the weekend of the 11th and 12th of February. Suzanne met us and showed us around the property which is a large town house immaculately decorated and overlooking the mouth of the Tweed. There is a guest longs available with a drinks cabinet and honesty bar which is a nice touch.... More

We spent one night at The Walls and left wishing that we'd stayed the entire weekend, if not the full week! Eric and Suzanne were great hosts; nothing was too much trouble for them. Though this was our first visit, Eric and Suzanne made us feel more like old friends than guests; I cannot speak highly enough of them and... More

Recommended to stay at the Walls by a family member who is not above dropping me in it, so naturally expected a disaster! The reality was so much better than my expectations that I might have to re-evaluate family relationships. May wait a bit before redrafting the will! The Walls was warm and welcoming, the rooms beautifully appointed, and care... More

Met by Suzanne off the train we knew we were in for a treat. The house comprises of two former town houses overlooking the Tweed. It is possible to see the seals playing and feeding from the bedrooms. We stayed in Swan. The bedrooms had soft robes and really nice quality beds, linen and fittings. Chocolates in the room (&... We chose this B&B after a great recommendation from a friend, and we weren't disappointed. The Walls is in a fantastic location, and Suzanne and Eric were incredibly welcoming, advising us on places to visit in the area. The breakfasts were delicious - I would recommend the crispy Parma ham and scrambled eggs on toasted muffins! We stayed in the... More

Absolutly loved this B & B, great little haven which was clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the swan room and our son in the cygnet room next door which though does not have an adjoining door it does share a lobby area and i felt at complete ease. The tea making facilities were replaced every day and were... More

We stayed for 2 nights and found everything to our liking. The location is very convenient for the town and the hospitality was first class; nothing was too much trouble. Although our room (The Walls) did not have the views of the upstairs rooms it was perfect for our stay. More

We really enjoyed our six night stay at "The Walls". The location is ideal for discovering the town and is within easy walking distance of both the train and bus stations. The B&B is very good value and nothing is too much trouble for Suzanne and Eric. Although our ground floor room did not have the views that the upstairs... More

This is our second visit to The Walls and my parents sixth! Suzanne and Eric are the friendliest people you could ever meet and The Walls is as beautiful as ever. Suzanne and Eric couldn't make you feel more welcome and we've ended up thinking of them as really good friends. We love Berwick and it's history and The Walls... More

Suzanne and Eric were great hosts in this small and very comfortable B&B. Our room (Tweed) had a great river view and we were lucky to see seals bobbing about in the morning and early evening. The room had lovely touches such as clip on book lights in the bed side table drawers. The breakfasts were amazing with fresh fruit,... More
