Gorgeous beach and sea view looking towards the Farne Islands out of one window and the magnificent Bamburgh Castle out of the other We could not have imagined a better location. A lovely room with en suite facilities and a breakfast to die for. What a wonderful experience.

We stayed in the oriental room for 2 nights. Perfect with the dog as we had our own front door that lead out to the carpark and the beach is across the road. The location is ideal and the views are amazing. You can walk into town we ate in the links hotel both nights as dogs are allowed in the... More

Stopped for two nights in May. Does exactly what it says on the tin - Luxury Bed & Breakfast. Our rooms were well and tastefully furnished with terrific views. One complaint was that the toilet seat would not stand up. Is that some comment on Scotland as it was the ensuite in that room. Ladies only ? Breakfast was excellent... More

This was our second visit, the last one being two years ago. If anything they have upped their very good game in the interim. They are also dog friendly, which is important to us. The position is great if you have a dog because it is a short walk down to the wonderful beach and then you can walk the... More

We have just come back from my birthday treat which was a night in a hotel on Holy Island and a 2nd night in the St Aidan Hotel. My wife had booked both hotels as a surprise treat for me and we were not disappointed in either hotel. We had to leave Holy Island a bit earlier than we had... More

This was our second stay at St Aidans and again we were not disappointed. The hospitality shown to guests by John and Sue is immeasurable and yet again we felt like we were in our own home! We have had a fabulous relaxing Easter break and can't wait to go back for May day bank holiday. The breakfasts were scrumptious... More

Stayed here last week on the 3 nights for 2 deal. Found the room a little small, but it was very cosy and the bed was comfortable, we had 3 good nights sleep. The breakfast was great, we especially appreciated the huge selection of fresh fruit that was on offer. Lots of extra touches like the binocs in every room... More

The St. Aiden Hotel lives up to its website description “Set on the seafront of Seahouses with unrivalled, magnificent panoramic views of the Farne Islands to the East and sweeping views of the rugged coastline and the castles of Bamburgh and Lindisfarne to the North”. We've been promising ourselves a couple of days here for years - but put off a bit by the price - although this is the going rate for anything with a sea view along the (glorious) Northumbrian coast. 3 for 2 deal decided us. So we booked. Arrived as spring began, which inevitably heralded in 40 mph gusts blowing in... More

This was our first visit to the Northumbrian Coast. We were not disappointed, we stayed in the "African" room with fantastic views of the Farne Islands ( complete with shipwreck ).
