A very lovely country hotel with a personal feel. We enjoyed relaxing by the log fires in beautiful surroundings - the library is particularly special. The staff were friendly and thoroughly professional. The food was very good and we enjoyed our meals informally in the lounge. Just the relaxing break we needed, and we look forward to returning. Very nice traditional country house hotel. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed taking the hotel dog for a walk! Afternoon tea was excellent, dinner also excellent and breakfast was good too. We had a suite which was spacious and relaxing. Although not cheap it was good value for money and we went away happy after having a lovely weekend. More
